Alexander Morelli

Alexander David Morelli, age 23, of Meadville, PA passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2026. He was born on May 20, 2003 in Meadville, PA to Daniel Giebel and Dawn Morelli.

Alex graduated from Meadville High School in 2021. He was currently working for D&E Machining of Corry, PA.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Alex enjoyed camping, fishing, playing soccer, riding his mini dirtbikes and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Daniel Giebel and his wife, Julianne of Northeast, PA and Dawn Morelli of Meadville, PA, he is survived by his fiancé, Melanie Brown; his two daughters, Jovanna and Savanna all of Meadville, PA; his sisters, Kaitlyn Giebel and Arya Morelli of Meadville, PA and Ella Giebel of Sheffield, PA; his maternal grandparents, David and Jacque Morelli of Meadville, PA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, David and Jean Giebel.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday September 12, 2026 from 1-2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 353 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm with Pastor Steve Mattocks officiating. A dinner for family and close friends of Alex will immediately follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to his daughters.
