Alice V. Beatty

Alice V. Beatty, age 78, formerly of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at White Cliff Health and Rehabilitation Center, Greenville, PA She was born March 2, 1936 in Franklin, PA the daughter of the late Howard J. and Leona Ruth Coulter Kilgore. She attended Rocky Grove High School. She had been employed as a Nurse's Aide at Meadville Medical Center, retiring December 1, 1998. She was of the Protestant Faith and enjoyed making crafts, gardening, and flea marketing. Alice was a member of the Station #3, Conneaut Lake, PA. She is survived by a son, Leroy D. Shuffstall of Franklin, PA, a daughter, Patricia A. Watson and her husband John T. Watson of Conneaut Lake, PA, a son, Ronald A. Shuffstall and his wife Cathy of Cooperstown, PA, and a daughter, Linda Baker and her husband, Chuck of Greenville, PA; 12 grandchildren: Jason Shuffstall, Bradly Shuffstall, Carina Warnick, Bobbi Jo Callis, David Watson, Ron Woods, Misty Shuffstall, Melissa Shuffstall, Danielle Shuffstall, Brady Baker, Tina Kolbrich and Jessica Baker, 19 Great-grandchildren, three brothers, Paul Kilgore, Robert Kilgore, and Donald Kilgore, a sister, Florence Scriven. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Beatty and Harry Beatty, two brothers; James Kilgore and Lawrence Kilgore, and by three sisters, Ruth O'Neil, Mary Updike, Grace O'Neil The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA. All are welcome to attend the memorial service at 4 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor David Brumagin, officiating. Burial will be in the Cooperstown Cemetery.
