Alice A. Brunot, age 93, formerly of Meadville and Greenville passed away at St. Paul’s Home, on August 29, 2016. She was born in Jamestown, PA on January 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Eugene B. Vanderslice and Sophia Elizabeth Amy. She married Howard Palm in 1948 and they were together until his passing in 1973. She later married Gerald Brunot in 1978. He preceded her in death in 2011. Alice graduated from Penn High of Greenville, PA. She worked for Westinghouse-Sharon, Beaver Printing Company and St. Paul’s Home in Greenville. She was a member of the Christ Reform Church in Grenville, PA. Alice was the president of the Neighborhood Merry Maker’s Club. She also loved cooking and being a homemaker. Alice is survived by a daughter, Karen Wilson (John) of Hadley, PA; a son James Palm (Sharon) of Jamestown, PA; one grandson, Chad Brunot of California; two sisters, Martha Hanich of Watauga, Texas, and Janette Leftcher (Don) of Greenville, PA, a sister-in-law: Charlotte Vanderslice of Greenville, PA. Alice is preceded in death by two daughters, Valorie Palm, and Jackie Holderfield; two brothers, Fred Vanderslice and his wife Vivian, Stanley Vanderslice; two sisters, Nora Cummins and her husband Don, and Marion Brainard; and a brother-in-law Steve Hanich. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be at the Kiser Hill Cemetery.
