Allen Kent

Allen D. Kent, age 56, of Guys Mills, PA passed away on Tuesday June 25, 2024 at Meadville Medical Center.  He was born on February 17, 1968 in Meadville, PA to the late Gordon Sr. and Helen (Hoover) Kent.

Allen worked for the city of Meadville and Meadville Area Water Authority.  He also worked at Semens Electronics and Fiber Optics. He attended Fresh Fire Outreach Church of Union City.

He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids.  He was willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed help.

Allen is survived by his two sons, Nathan R. Blystone of Guys Mills, PA and Zachary Blystone of Meadville, PA; 3 grandchildren, John, Jerry and Zaeli and his sister, Mary Moses and her husband, Robert of Guys Mills, PA and his brothers, Gordon Kent Jr and his wife, Mae of Linesville, PA and Robert Kent and his wife, Laura of Saegertown, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service for Allen Kent will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024 at Randolph Fire Hall,11475 PA-198, Guys Mills, PA 16327 from 2-4 pm. Please bring a dish to share.
