Amy Brady

Amy S. Brady, age 71, of Meadville, PA went home to Jesus on Friday October 14, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center surrounded by family.   She was born on January 9, 1951 in Zelienople, PA to the late Raymond and Bertha (Kasten) George.  She married Robert Brady on October 8, 1989 and they shared 38 years together.

Amy was a graduate of Freedom Area High School Class of 1969.  In her later years she worked in Quality Assurance at C&J Industries and Wal-Mart.

She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and she enjoyed being outdoors.   She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.

In addition to her husband, Robert of Meadville, she is survived by her children, Rick Donahue (Beth Beglinger) of Pittsburgh, Renee Nishnick (Tom Fuller) of Edinboro, Jessica Donahue (Nathan Capenos) of Pittsburgh, Brian Donahue (Catherine) of Pittsburgh, Robyn “Michelle” Murray of Brownsville and Gary Brady of Brownsville; her grandchildren, Ashley, Ariann, Zack, Amanda, Nicole, Devin, Aden, Ella, Sydney, Charles (Cherie) and Brandon; 4 great-grandchildren;  one sister, Patricia Russo (Tony) of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Robert George (Linda) of Pittsburgh and David George (Joyce) of Bethel Park; her former spouse, Patrick Donahue of Houston and  several nieces and nephews.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Alan George and John Longo and her great-grandson, Lucas James.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 5, 2022 from 1-4 pm at Edinboro McKean VFW Post #740, 10613 PA 98, Edinboro, PA 16412.
