Angelina Mary Monico

Angelina M. Monico, age 81, of Meadville, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. She was born on January 15, 1932 in Meadville, the daughter of the late Marcello and Concetta (Bor) Mastroianni. Angie married Frank Monico Jr. on June 6th, 1953, and he survives. She graduated from Meadville High School. Angie worked for the PA Department of Health; Lucia Pagniello, M.D.; and finally for the Tedesco Family in many capacities. She was a member of St. Mary of Grace Catholic Church of Meadville, and served as the President and Treasurer of St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society, the Catholic Daughters of America, and the Italian Civic Club Auxilliary of Meadville. Survivors include her Husband Frank Monico Jr. of Meadville ; their Son: Dr. David Monico of Erie; Grandchildren: Joseph Ross of Florida; Marian, Timothy, and Amy, of South Carolina. Great Grandchildren: Lauren Ross and Sean Ross; two Brothers: C. J. Mastroianni of Kentucky and Dom Mastrianno of Long Island, N. Y. In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Jeanne Stone; a sister Frances DeJohn; and a brother Joseph Mastrianno A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street Meadville, PA 16335 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 10 AM at St. Mary of Grace Catholic Church, 1085 Water Street, Meadville by the Reverend Father Marc Solomon, Pastor.
