Angeline Adams

Angeline K. Adams, age 94, of Meadville, PA passed away at Rolling Fields Eldercare in Conneautville, PA on Monday December 9, 2024. She was born on January 28, 1930 in Mount Claire, WV to the late Peter and Mary (Pangerc) Kralj( who were first generation immigrants from Slovenia and Austria.) She married Donald R. Adams on June 6, 1959. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1983.

Angeline attended grade school in Widen, WV. She graduated from Meadville High School in 1948. While she was in high school, she worked for Murphy’s 5&10 and Montgomery Ward.  After graduating she worked at Penelec and then the Meadville Telephone Company.  She then became a homemaker.

Angeline was a member of St. Brigid’s Church.

She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Hayfield Auxiliary, Slovene National Benefit Society and Saegertown American Legion.

Angeline is survived by her sons, Donald Adams and his wife, Kathy of Meadville, PA, William Adams and his wife, Denise of Saegertown, PA and Peter Adams and his wife, Brenda of Meadville, PA and thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Anna Constantinovich, Peter Kralj, John Kralj and Frank Kralj.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday December 12, 2024 from 4-6 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday December 13, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Brigid Church, 353 Arch St., Meadville, PA 16335 with Father Kyle Seyler.  A private burial will take place at St. Brigid Cemetery. A luncheon will immediately follow the mass at Pleasantview Alliance Church, 16233 Route 86, Saegertown, PA 16433.
