Anna Phares

Anna Mae Phares, age 80, of Saegertown, PA passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Crawford County Care Center.             She was born on July 19, 1936 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late Ralph Choffel and Edna Ingram Choffel. She married John Phares on June 4, 1955. He preceded her in death in August 1999.             Anna worked at K-Mart in the retail sales department for many years. She volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Association and at the Meadville Medical Center following her retirement. Anna enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.             Anna is survived by two daughter: Janet Neal of Meadville, PA, Barbara Ensworth and her husband John of Meadville, PA, a son: Mike Phares of Napa, CA, four grandchildren: John Larson, Paul Neal, Matt Larson, Kristy Neal, ten great-grandchildren: Lynn Neal, Kayleigh Manross, Cheyenne Manross, Dylan Larson, Chloe Larson, Jamie Larson, Katie Larson, Timmy Larson, Bennett Larson, Scott Larson, three great-great-grandchildren: Gabriel Neal, Elizabeth Franklin, Theodore Manross, one sister: Mary Jane Moloughney and her husband Joe of Toms River, NJ, one brother: Ralph Choffel and his wife Ruth of South Carolina.
