Anne Edith Sylves

Anne Edith Sylves, age 52, of Meadville, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 11, 1963 in Braddock, PA the daughter of the late James Pavlicek and Jeannette Brugger Pavlicek. She married George Sylves on October 13, 2003. He survives. She had received her Associate Degree in Nursing from The Community College of Allegheny County. She also received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Arts from Seton Hill University. She was the proprietor of Brookside Yoga Studio in Meadville. Anne was a member of the Allegheny Sounds Chorus, a chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, of Franklin, PA. She also volunteered at the Meadville Area Free Clinic. She was active with the Family Services by organizing fundraising events through Brookside Yoga Studio, and offered free community yoga classes every first Friday of the month. Anne served as the Judge of Elections for Union Township. Survived by her husband, George Sylves of Meadville, two sons: Elliot Kim of Pittsburgh, PA, Gabriel Kim of Meadville, PA, two daughters: Janis Sylves and her husband David Zaccari of Darlington, PA,Valerie Sylves of Meadville, PA, adopted daughter: Xinyang Liu of Meadville, PA, a granddaughter Hanna Zaccari, four sisters: Patricia DiLucenti and her husband Michael of Pitcarin, PA, Ruth Kendall and her husband Cal of Monroeville, PA, Marie Wehrli and her husband Paul of Silver Springs, MD, Grace Sylves and her husband Paul of Cochranton, PA. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James Pavlicek. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 12 noon until time of service at 3 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Women's Services, 204 Spring Street, Meadville, PA 16335. Place of inurnment will be in the Huber Cemetery.
