Arden L. Calvin

Arden “Joe” Lee Calvin, age 90, of Atlantic, PA passed away at home with family by his side on Monday April 15, 2024.  He was born on January 28, 1934 in Atlantic, PA to the late Tracy and Mabel (Rice) Calvin.  He married Grayce Elaine Saulsbery on March 30, 1962.  She preceded him in death on October 8, 2004.
Joe worked for PennDot of Meadville.  He was a member of Atlantic Community Church.  He enjoyed hunting and watching sports.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Calvin and her significant other, Daniel Carpin of Meadville, PA and his sons, Doug Calvin and his wife, Donna of Greenville, PA; Allen Calvin of Meadville, PA and Scott Calvin and his wife, Margie of Greenville, PA; his grandchildren, Josh Calvin, Brittany Davis, Brandi Edeburn, Erin Gera, Joey Calvin, Shane Hites and 2 step grandchildren; and his great grandchildren, Corey Calvin, Grace Calvin, Colten Calvin, Cheyenne Davis, Duncan Davis, Ivan Davis, Lillionna Calvin, Charlie Gera; 9 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his infant son, Thomas Calvin; his brothers, Roger Calvin, Robert Calvin, Stanley Calvin and his sister, Opal Baird.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday April 19, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316. Funeral service will take place Saturday April 20, 2024 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Rocky Glen Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his wife and son with Pastor Sally Bell officiating.
