Arnold Alvin Anger

Arnold Alvin Anger, age 78, of Meadville, passed away on May 24, 2015, at his residence. He was born October 6, 1936 in Buffalo, New York the son of the late Budd and Ida Trubenbach Anger. He married Carol Janet Adams. She preceded him in death in 1999. He subsequently married Arlene Kanowski Hoeber on August 22, 2000. She survives. He was retired. He served for six years in the United States Navy having served aboard the USS Gearing and the USS Charles F. Adams. He was a member of the USS Gearings Association and the American Legion. He enjoyed spending time on the computer and had many friends. Having acquired many talents, Arnold could build and fix anything. Being an avid hunter, he enjoyed the time he spent with his two sons hunting. Arnold was interested in the family genealogy and loved his model trains. He will be missed greatly by his family and his beloved Shih Tzu, Joey He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Arlene M Anger of Meadville, PA, two sons: Ross S. Anger and his wife Kim of Lynchburg, Virginia and Douglas A. Anger and his wife Tami of Surprise, Arizona, three grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth Young, Parker A. Mills, and Brady A. Mills, five brothers: Harold Anger and his late wife Julie of Silver Creek, New York, a sister: the late Dorothy Dunbar and her late husband Jack, Cheektowaga, New York, Richard Anger of Cheektowaga, New York, Edward Anger and his wife Patricia of Tonawanda, New York, Raymond Anger and his wife Ida of San Antonio, Texas, a sister: Janette Clark and her late husband Harvey of Lancaster, New York and Norman Anger and his late wife Anne of Depew, New York. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
