Arthur "Russ" Lawrence Mcdeavitt Jr

Arthur Lawrence "Russ" McDeavitt Jr. age 50, of Linesville, PA passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1964 in Greenville, PA, the son of the late Carol Black and Arthur Lawrence McDeavitt Sr. of Tionesta, PA. He married Roseanna Boyer on April 2, 1983. He graduated from Meadville High School and had attended Edinboro University. He was employed at Forevever Broadcasting in Meadville, PA as a disc jockey using the name of Unknown Frog, with Froggy Radio. Russ was a big fan of music especially Stevie Nix and Peter Gabriel. Arthur also had been employed for a number of years at Street Track and Trail in Meadville, PA. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He was a supporter of the Super Hero Run organization. Russ is survived by a daughter, Sara McDeavitt and her fiancée Gerald Hutchison of Meadville, PA , a son; Matthew McDeavitt and his wife Erin of Linesville, PA, his father; Arthur Lawrence McDeavitt Sr of Tionesta, PA, three grandchildren; Sophia Hutchison, Jaxson William McDeavitt and Jillian Joan McDeavitt, a sister; Valerie Williams of Greenville, PA and a brother; Neal Williams and his wife Shelby of Oil City, PA. He is also survived by his former wife, Roseanna Boyer Welsh of Cochranton, PA and by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Black McDeavitt. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
