Audrey Mae Hanmore

Audrey Mae Hanmore, age 87, formerly of Conneaut Lake, a resident of Wesbury, passed away Tuesday April 30, 2013, at Wesbury. She was born September 12, 1925 at Bellaire, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Blanche (Chrisman) Given. Audrey was married to Russell Hanmore; he passed in 1980. She was a high school graduate and had worked as a cafeteria cook at Conneaut Lake grade school. She and her husband owned and maintained greenhouses. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening and fixing appliances. Mrs. Hanmore is survived by: two daughters: Roberta (Richard) Strawbridge of Rocky Mount, N. Carolina, and Marquerite (Bruce) Patterson of Belle Vernon, PA., three sons: Ronald (Lisa) Hanmore of Conneaut Lake, Bernard (Lori) Hanmore of Conneaut Lake, and Heath (Judy) Hanmore of Conneaut Lake. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Jason Strawbridge, Stephanie Labonowski, Ginger Foster, Sean Patterson, Holly Blair, and Carin Rudolph. Seven great-grandchildren are also surviving. Additionally, Mrs. Hanmore is survived by a brother Gerald (Marjorie) Givens, two sisters Valgene McFadden, and Dorothy Carpenter, all of Ohio. Preceeding her in death were her parents, husband, granddaughter, and grandson. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory 130 N. Second Street, Conneaut Lake, Rocco R. Tedesco III, Supervisor. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 3, 2013, at 1PM, in Dickson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jay Sterling and Pastor Dave Brumagin, both of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, Officiating. Interment will take place in Roselawn. Memorials may be made the the Trinity United Methodist Church, 240 N.
