Audrey Sobieski

Audrey L. Sobieski, age 92, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away peacefully on Monday February 7, 2022 at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community in Conneautville, PA.  She was born on April 22, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late William and Mary (Shearer) Roalman.  She married Edward Russell Everett.  He preceded her in death on August 3, 1963.  She then married Frank Sobieski on October 31, 1959.  He preceded her in death on August 12, 2012.

Audrey attended Conneaut Valley High School.  She worked for a short time at Viscose of Meadville, PA and then worked for Ohio Rubber in Conneautville, PA.  She also taught upholstering at Crawford County Vo-Tech and she ran the family drive in restaurant “Chuck Wagon” in Conneaut Lake, PA.

Audrey was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas church.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, traveling and watching her grandchildrens’ sporting events.

Audrey is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Harvey and her husband, David of Mt Gretna, PA and Pamela Everett and her fiancé, John Leasure of Conneaut Lake, PA and her daughter-in-law, Carrie Sobieski of Conneaut Lake, PA; six grandchildren, Dustin Harvey and his wife, Deborah of Spring City, PA, Amanda Hannold and her husband, Gabe of Deltona, FL, Jeff Walker of Conneaut Lake, PA, Evan Sobieski and his wife, Tiffany of Meadville, PA, Justin Sobieski of Conneaut Lake, PA and Lynn Sobieski and her significant other, Jamie Chisholm of Espyville, PA and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Roalman and her step father, Clarence Keene; her husbands, Edward Everett and Frank Sobieski; her sister, Doris Lynce; her son, Mark Sobieski and her grandson, Derek Harvey.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday February 11, 2022 from 10 am- 12 noon.  Funeral service will take place at noon at the funeral home with Father David Carter of Our Lady Queen of the Americas officiating.  She will be laid to rest in OLQA Cemetery.
