Autumn Marie Zimmer

Autumn Marie Zimmer, 94 of Meadville passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 10, 1919 in Cambridge Springs, PA, the daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn (Clark) Kuhn. She married Floyd H. Zimmer on July 4, 1935. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1997. Autumn had worked at Viscose, Talon, Meadville Bakery and was a Tupperware home parties manager for 22 years, retiring in l982. She was a member of the Little's Corners United Methodist Church. She enjoyed housework, baking and especially the time she spent with her grandchildren. Autumn enjoyed her last two years at Hillside Home and the many friends she made, especially her ladies' card group and the wonderful staff. She is survived by her three son's Charles W. Zimmer and his wife, Gail of Blooming Valley, Stanley E. Zimmer and his wife, JoAnn of Conneautville, Donald J. Zimmer and his wife, Nancy of Meadville and two daughters June Marie Hays and her husband, James, of Littles Corners, PA, Christine Ann Walker and significant other, Gary Main of Meadville and 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Autumn was preceded in death by two brothers Francis L. Kuhn and Kenneth E. Kuhn. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or to the Littles Corners United Methodist Church, c/o 16352 State Hwy 198, Saegertown, PA 16433.
