Barbara J. Lamson

Barbara J. Lamson, 85, formerly of Holland Towers in Meadville, PA passed away peacefully Monday, May 19, 2025 at Crawford Care Center.  Barbara was born on August 12, 1939 in Westford, PA to the late Ralph E. and Leota H. (Smith) McCormick.  She married Robert W. Lamson on September 14, 1969. He preceded her in death May 27, 1994.

Barbara was a graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School.  After high school, she went to the University of Wisconsin for 2 years.  Through the years, Barbara worked for C&J Industries as a plastic injection molder.  She was a lover of classical music and was an avid reader.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Debra Hodge and her companion Carl Moore of Meadville, PA; one grandson Jacob Thomas Moore of Meadville, PA; one nephew and two nieces.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by an infant son Robert Ramm, a grandson Matthew Hodge and her brother Charles McCormick and his wife Norma.

As per Barbara’s wishes, no services will be conducted.

Barbara will be laid to rest in the Conneautville Cemetery with her late husband Robert.
