Barbara Moody

Barbara V. Moody, age 86, of Townville, PA passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday October 28, 2026. She was born on May 5, 1940 in Clearfield County, PA to the late Isaac Ambrose and Christine Mary (Yarger) Wolfe.

Barb worked as a nurse’s aide at various nursing homes throughout her life. She most recently retired from Wesbury after 20 years of service.

She loved camping but most of all spending time with family and friends.

Barb is survived by her daughters, Brenda Doolittle of Townville, PA and Tammy Smith and her husband, Tag of Meadville, PA and her sons, Peter Petrone and John Petrone both of Meadville, PA; five grandchildren, Kenneth (Christina) Doolittle, Clay Doolittle, Jodie (Scott) Deane, Dewey (Shannon) Smith and Nevaeh Matthews; her great grandchildren, Penelope, Lincoln, Morrison, Colton, Corbin, Aubrey, Jazlyn, Maddi, Pyper and Tag; her sisters, Eleanor Bickford of Butler, PA, Pam Sauers of Saegertown, PA and Bernie Wolfe of Coraopolis and two special nieces, Carolyn (Ron) Lewis and Shelly (Chuck) Cogar.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Wolfe and John Wolfe and her son-in-law, Ken Doolittle.

There will be a private Celebration of Life at the convenience of the family.
