Barbara Jean Netz

Barbara Jean Netz, age 72, of Meadville, PA passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 16, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late James and Lillie Mae (Merkel) Davidson. She had been married to the former Robert Netz. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2008. She was of the Catholic faith. She had been employed at the Deerhead Inn and Highlite Lounge and Two's Company. She was a member of the Moose Club and Station 4. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Dederick and her husband Derek of Meadville, PA., two sons; Robert Netz and his wife, Gayle of Port Charlotte, FL, and John Netz and his wife Audeen of Meadville, PA., five grandchildren, Michael LeJeune and his companion, Libby of the U.S. Navy, Megan Kriner of Meadville, PA., Nichole Arndt and her husband, Michael of Spring Hill, FL, Nicole Shreve of Oil City, PA., and Deanna Devore and her husband Luke of Meadville, PA; 7 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Alden, John, Olivia, Brayden, Taylor and Kaylie; a sister, Dolores Berroth of Meadville, PA. In addition to her parents, and her former husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Davidson, and a brother-in-law Charles Berroth. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be at a future date.
