Bernadette A. Shouey

Bernadette "Bernie" A. Shouey, age 70, of Meadville, PA passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at her residence. She was born October 28, 1944 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late John A. and Florence Williams Miller. She married David R. Shouey in May of 1963. He survives. She had been employed at Active Tool in Meadville, PA. Bernie loved cooking, knitting and doing cross stitch projects. She loved traveling on Harley trips. She loved all dogs, but especially her beloved dog, Precious. Bernie is survived by her husband David R. Shouey of Meadville, PA, a daughter: Diane Shouey of Meadville, PA, son: David R. Shouey Jr. of Illinois, four sisters: Delores Granda of Meadville, PA, Mary Wasson of Meadville, PA, Gerri Padgett of North Carolina and Ann Gladys of Meadville, PA, and her pet Shih Tzu, Precious. In addition to her parents, Bernie was preceded in death by a brother; Frank Miller. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Agatha Cemetery, West Mead Township.
