Betsy L. Zaker

Betsy Lynette (Glancy) Zaker, age 53, of Greenwood Township, passed away at her sister’s home in Meadville on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on June 22, 1965 at home in Geneva, PA to the late Blaine and Eileen (Koehler) Glancy. She married William Zaker August 30, 1997 in Meadville, PA. He survives.  Betsy graduated from Conneaut Lake High School in 1983.  She cleaned for Conneaut School District and was a housewife.  She enjoyed crocheting.  Betsy was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Betsy is survived by her husband, William; three sisters, Barbara Debruycker and her husband, Ed, Brenda Rhoades, Bonnie Hough and her husband, Ken; one brother, Brad Glancy and his wife, Wendy; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and her mother-in-law, Margaret.  Betsy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Brent Glancy and brother-in-law, Ron Rhoades. Family and friends are invited to call at the Dickson Funeral Home in Conneaut Lake on Friday, January 25 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, January 26 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home immediately following calling hours Saturday, January 26 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Philip Thomas and Pastor Ken Hough officiating.  A private burial will be held at Geneva Memorial Cemetery.
