Beverly Jean Mcgirr

Beverly Jean McGirr, age 69 of Jamestown, PA died Saturday, July 20 at her residence. She was born on October 12, 1943 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late Leonard and Dora Mae (Williams) Johnson. She married Roy James McGirr Jr. on July 11, 1964. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2000. She was a l961 Graduate of Jamestown High School. She retired as a Nurse's Aid from the Miller's Nursing Home in Andover, Ohio. She was of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as baking. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Coulter and her husband, David of Salem, Ohio; two sons, Jonathan Roy McGirr and his wife, Susan of Greenville, PA, and Jeffrey McGirr of Jamestown, PA; six grandchildren, Joshua McGirr, Roy James Cecil McGirr, James Pesano, Stephanie Pesano, Beverly Taylor and Jamie Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Matthew McGirr and James Pesano; two brothers, Robert Johnson and his wife, Wanda of Jamestown, PA., and Gary Johnson and his wife, Lori of Transfer, PA. Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Frantz, her father, Leonard Johnson, and by her husband, Roy James McGirr Jr. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown, PA.
