Bonnie R. Sweeney, age 73, of Highway 285, Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born July 19, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Nancy Covington Roos. She married Edward D. Sweeney. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2009. Bonnie was a 1959 graduate South Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She had been employed by PPG Industries in Pittsburgh from 1963 to 1999. She had previously been employed by DEP in Meadville, PA Pymatuning State Park, the Census Bureau, and at WalMart. She was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed traveling with her friends to Australia, Mexico, France and to New Orleans, Louisanna. Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Tracey L. Weber and her husband Keith A. Weber of Conneaut Lake, PA, four grandchildren; Nikki Weber and partner, Timothy Schmidt Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, Kerry Weber and partner Brian Feeney of Pittsburgh, PA, Megan Weber of Conneaut Lake, PA and Keith E. Weber of Conneaut Lake, PA, two great-grandchildren; Kyrsten Feeney and Brayden Feeney of Pittsburgh, PA, a brother; Edward Roos of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard D. Sweeney. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316. Family and friends may attend the funeral service on Thursday at 11 AM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA with Father Jeffrey Lucas of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church, officiating.
