Brett Winsor Sr.

Brett Alan Winsor Sr passed away on April 13, 2024 in Meadville, PA. He was born to Lawrence Winsor Jr and Shirley McHenry-Smith on October 11th, 1960 in Meadville, PA. He was a very special man with the ability to easily make friends and loved his family and those he cared about with a fiery passion. He got married to Ellen Odenwalt in February of 1987. Ellen had a daughter prior to him, but he claimed Heather as his own. If anyone asked, she was his and he loved her. Together, they had three more kids together. Sarah in December of 1987, Brett Jr in 1989, and Christian in 1991. They later would divorce in 1992 and eventually remarry other people. Brett ended up living in Washington State for a great portion of his adult life, following his mother, Shirley, who had moved out there in 1989. He would later meet his second wife, Kendra Stokley, who he loved very deeply. They would eventually wed in 2003. This marriage brought with it 2 daughters, Krystal and Amy, that were Kendra's that Brett also brought into the fold of his children. In 2005 they would have another child named Brooklyn that would be their last. In his final year of life, Brett would move back home to Meadville to be with his family and friends while dealing with medical issues. He was a great man and will be missed by so many.

Brett was preceded in death by his mother Shirley, Jim (the man he knew as dad), his wife Kendra, and his sister Brenda. He is survived by his brothers Lawrence Winsor III of Las Vegas, NV, and Jim Smith of Guys Mills, PA, his sisters Bettyjane Boyer (and her husband John) of Mercer, PA, Marygrace Chamberlain of Blairsville, PA, and Robyn Thompson (and her daughter Chrisy) of Tucson, AZ. His Children, Heather Nader of Guys Mills, PA, Sarah Winsor(and her daughter Emma) of Nampa, ID, Brett Winsor Jr of Meadville, PA, Christian Winsor of Cochranton, PA, Brooklyn Stokley-Winsor of Mercer, PA, Krystal Stokley of Puyallup, WA, and Amy Hughes of Gig Harbor, WA. As well as many other family and loved ones who knew him.

A celebration of his life for those who knew Brett will be shared at a later time.
