Carol Bates

Carol A. Bates, age 78, of Conneaut Lake, PA went to Heaven on Monday September 12, 2022 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was born on January 18, 1944 in DuBois, PA to the late Bernadine Snedden.  She was married to Robert Bates for over 40 years.  He preceded her in death on October 20, 2007.

Carol attended Linesville High School.  She retired after 56 years from Molded Fiberglass.

She enjoyed gardening and listening to country music.  She loved her son.

Carol is survived by her son, Brian Bates of Conneaut Lake, PA; two grandchildren, Brandon and Jesse and 1 great grandchild, Braden; two sisters, Nancy Bowers of Edinboro, PA and Valerie Tiger of St. Mary’s, PA and one brother, Charlie Lurch and his wife, Julie of Punxsutawney, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her brother-in-law, Bill Bowers.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
