Carol A. Davis

Carol A. Davis, age 64, of Meadville, passed on January 2, 2015 at Park Avenue Nursing and Rehab. . Carol was born in Pittsburgh on January 14, 1950; the daughter of Earl John Davis Jr. and Mildred Jenkins Davis. Carol had worked at Leech Tool and Die, Conneaut Lake Park, and the Gettysburg Shoe Factory. She was of the Catholic Faith. Her favorite past-times included: crocheting, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and NASCAR (her favorite was No 11). Survivors include: 2 sons Larry Davis of Ambridge, PA; Tony Sorice and his wife Donna of Conneaut Lake, PA; 2 grandchildren: Brittany Sorice and Kayann Sorice. Also surviving are a sister Dorothy "Cissy" Davis of Linesville, Pa, and a brother Earl "Butch" Davis III of Linesville, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son- Robert Davis. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 1-3 and 4-6 at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory , 614 Baldwin Street Meadville. A funeral service will be held at 6 PM (Tuesday) at the funeral home with the Rev. Phillip Thomas, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church, Officiating. A reception will follow the services at the West Mead # 1 Fire Hall 10482 Liberty St. Ext. Meadville. Ms. Davis will be interred in Espyville Cemetery.
