Caroline Thomas

Caroline M. Thomas, age 91, most recently of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at Wesbury with her daughter Sheree by her side on Sunday May 31, 2026. She was born on August 29, 1934 in Titusville, PA to the late Clyde and Marie Hasbrouck.

Caroline graduated from Townville High School in 1953. Over the years she worked at many local places including waitressing at Colonel Drake Hotel and Crosscreek of Titusville and David Meade Inn. She also worked at DIC Tool and Spectrum Control, Inc of Saegertown, where she retired from.

After her retirement, Caroline resided in Umatilla, FL for many years. She was very involved with her Christian Science Church family of Eustis, FL. She was a Sunday School teacher, part of the flower brigade and landscaping at her church. She loved to travel. Daytona Beach was one of her regular destinations. She also enjoyed walking the Eustis Lake Walk.

Caroline is survived by her children, Dennis Thomas and his wife, Mary of GA, Sheree Coscia and her husband, Tom of Saegertown, PA, Lynn Thomas of Meadville, PA and Duane Thomas and his wife, Karen of Meadville, PA; her grandchildren, Jeremy Thomas and his wife, Brittany of Saegertown, PA and Dylan Thomas and his wife, Livia of Meadville, PA; six great grandchildren, Alex Coscia, Mia, Ellie and Max Thomas and Paislee and Branson Thomas; her sisters, Kay Hasbrouck of Oil City, PA, Kathy Ritchie and her husband, Tom of Antonio, TX, Karen Crawford and her husband, Roger of Guys Mills, PA and her brothers, Edward Hasbrouck of Diamond, PA and Roger Hasbrouck and his wife, Sara of GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former spouse, Donald Thomas; her grandson, Damian Coscia and her siblings, Gerald Hasbrouck, Fred Hasbrouck, Maxine Hedden and Bonnie Lyda.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
