Carolyn Nowack

Carolyn Rose Nowack of Espyville passed away February 26, 2025.

Carolyn was an exceptional individual in so very many ways. In her many years as an educator, she touched the lives of innumerable individuals with her talents and her love.

She also was an incredible artist, creating works in painting, sketching, jewelry, pottery, and ceramics. In addition, she was a more than accomplished musician. Along with her beloved husband, she created many Carousel animals and demonstrated her talents across the entire nation.

Carolyn loved sauntering into the woods surrounding the home she and George constructed. She more than loved the sights and sounds of the creatures she would encounter, especially the many birds. In later years she and her husband, along with their Canine son, would sit on the porch and decks surrounding their home while their ears and eyes were entertained by their feathered friends.

Carolyn was a TRUE GIFT to Life in so many ways.

She was preceded in death by her furry babies: Macs, Hobbes, Kiki, Ty, Bert, Raj, and Cooper, and her parents Ross E. Vogel Sr., her mother Adrianna Vogel, and her brother, William.

She is survived by her husband, George P. Nowack, and her brother Ross.

As per her wishes, there will be no services or funeral.

Any contributions honoring her memory may be donated to the Anna Shelter in Erie, PA.

Carolyn, as I hold you in my arms, I KNOW you and all of our furry babies are running freely, and will welcome me when it is my time to join you. You are ALWAYs with me...your loving husband, George
