Charles Jessup

Charles E. Jessup, age 81, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on June 20, 2021 at Meadville Medical Center due to a stroke.  He was born on April 2, 1940 in Conneaut Lake, PA to the late Joseph and Charlotte (Griggs) Jessup. He married Linda L. Marburger on June 10, 1961. She survives.

Charles was employed as a bricklayer with Local 9 Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers until retirement. He attended Victory Family Worship Center for many years where he was an usher and he also attended other non-denominational churches.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being with his family and friends and doing ministry work at the Albion prison.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, Linda, he is survived by three children, Brenda Jessup Free of Meadville, PA, Darlene Jessup and her husband, William Gay of Potomac, MD and Bradley Jessup of Westminster, MD and a brother, Robert L. Jessup of Quebec, Canada.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Anna Mae Jessup Growall .

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday June 25, 2021 from 4-6 pm at Dickson Funeral Home, 130 N. 2 ^nd Street, Conneaut Lake, PA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Chuck Scott officiating.  Interment will take place at Genvea Cemetery.
