Charles Reed Morian. Age 90, of Conneaut Lake, passed away peacefully at the Marquette Hospice House, on April 3rd, 2015. He was born June 6th, 1924 in East Fallowfield Township, the son of Adam and Minnie (Elder) Morian: Adam and Minnie are both deceased. On September 16, 1947 he married Helen Rohleder; Helen passed away on November 2nd, 2002. Charles was a graduate of East Fallowfield High School, and retired from ABEX maintenance department. During World War II Charles served in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Tech. Sargeanthe was an aerial engineer gunner. Charles was a life-member of the VFW, Linesville Post 7842. He was of the protestant faith and belief. Surviving Charles are two sons: Bill (Dede) Morian of Conneaut Lake, and Terry (Sandy) Morian of Conneaut Lake; also a daughter-in-law Carolyn Morian of Conneaut Lake. There are 7 grandchildren surviving Charles: Alice (Jeff) Battles of Conneaut Lake, Kelly (Victor) Velazquez of Myrtle Beach, Amber (Brad)Gowetski of Conneaut Lake, Kristen (Trevor) Murcko of Wexford, Heather (fiancé Mike McClure) of Carlton , Matt (fiancé Corrine Livingston) of Conneaut Lake, and Erin Morian of Conneaut Lake. Also surviving are 9 great grand-children: Kylee Battles, Logan Battles, Maggie Battles, Victor Velazquez, J.J. Gowetski, Robert Gowetski, Raina Murcko, Griffen Murcko, and Trent Murray. Charles is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceding Charles in death, in addition to his parents and wife were 3 sisters and 4 brothers, a son Glenn Morian, and an infant son Harold Morian. A visitation will be held on Monday April 6, 2015 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory 130 N. Second St. Conneaut Lake. A funeral service will be held Monday evening at 7 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Brumagin, of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, Officiating; participating in Charles Morian's services will be the Honor Guard of the Linesville VFW. On Tuesday, April 7, 2015 burial with full military honors will be held at 11 AM, in Rocky Glen Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the Meadville VFW Post 2006.
