Charles (Chuck) J. Wilson, 68, of Cambridge Springs, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 12, 2017, at his residence of natural causes. Born December 27, 1948 in Meadville, he was the son of the late Anna Rendulic Wilson and Ira William Wilson. Following his graduation from Cambridge Springs High School, Chuck served in the United States Army and then went to work at Avtex and Lord’s Corporation in Saegertown where he retired in 2011. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Tanya Hornstrom and her husband Adrian, and he had a very special bond with his granddaughter Kayla of Pasadena, MD; his brothers William D. Wilson and his wife Teresa of Erie, and Robert G. Wilson of Hernando, Fla. Additional survivors include a nephew, Jeffrey Sherman and his wife, Judy and a niece Karen Prindle and her husband, Christopher and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Sherman. Per Chuck’s wishes there will be no calling hours. Cremation will take place at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory. A private service will be conducted at the convenience of the family and all are invited to a “Celebration of Life” to be held at his residence on Saturday, February 18, at 4:00 PM.
