Charlotte A. Collins

Ms. Charlotte A. Collins, age 81, of Meadville, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at the Meadville Medical Center. She was born April 8, 1932 in Aliquippa, PA, the daughter of the late James and Sara M. (Shinn) Collins She retired from the Bronstein-Jeffries, P.A., in Harrisburg, PA She was a member of the Valley Baptist Church in Middletown, PA and the Calvary Baptist Church in Meadville, PA. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking, family events, reading and especially being a guardian angel to her dachshunds that needed love. She is survived by four sons, Frank P. DeLizio III and his wife, Nancy of Tampa, FL, Kerry L. DeLizio of Saegertown, PA., David W. DeLizio of Middletown, PA., and James M. DeLizio and his wife, Aimee of Saegertown, PA; six grandchildren, Ronald R. Harman, Christina L. Crum, Dara L. Bogovic, Brad A. DeLizio, Courtney S. DeLizio and Dominic M. DeLizio; three great-grandchildren, Lauren Leese, Madilyn Bogovic, and Brian Bogovic Jr.; A sister, Corinne Kurlfink of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother, James C. Collins and his wife Nina of Duncannon, PA; her former Daughter -in-law, Candi R. DeLizio of Dover, PA. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and many, many close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Collins in l960, and her beloved Dachshunds, Heidi, Oscar, and Sweet-Pea. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Valley Baptist Church 1190 N. Union Street, Middletown, PA 17057 with Pastor Jerry Cowan of the church officiating. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 543 Randolph Street, Meadville, PA on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Doug Messerall, officiating.
