Chester K Minnis

Chester married Neva Smith on September 2, 1939. She preceded him in death on March 17, 1996. Chester was a career railroader. He retired from Conrail/Erie-Lackawanna Railroad as a conductor after 36 years. Following his retirement, he established a neighborhood lawn care and landscaping business capitalizing on one of his favorite pastimes - working on his lawn and flower gardens. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Meadville. He was also a lifetime member of the BPOE Elks No. 219 in Meadville.
