Christy A. Pipher

Christy Ann Pipher, age 47, of Meadville passed away November 7, 2019 after a long illness.  She was born on September 11, 1972 in Jersey City, NJ to Charles and Debra (Raye) Pipher.

Christy graduated from Bayonne High School in New Jersey.  She was a former manager of Country Fair before she became a stay at home mother and housewife.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Ed Smock of Meadville; her parents, Debra Blystone and her husband, Roy of Venango, PA and Charles Pipher and his wife, Pat of Bayonne, NJ; three daughters, Ashley Benich and her husband, Kyle of Conneaut Lake, Amanda Pipher and her significant other, Alan of Niles, OH and Allie Denver and her husband, Jesse of Bayonne, NJ; one son, Sky Smock of Meadville; seven grandchildren, Annalyse and Emma Benich, Maddie and Kaydence Denver, Aiden, Audrey and Anthony Hall and one more on the way; two sisters, Michelle Sayers and her husband, Darrell of Erie, PA, Tiffany DeWitt and her husband, Josh of Madison, OH, Courtney Pipher of Bayonne, NJ and Jennifer Bonilla and her husband, Pedro of New Jersey; two brothers, Michael Davis of Venango, PA and Josh Pipher and his wife, Louisa of Bayonne, NJ; two nephews, Gavin Davis and Jacob Bonilla; three nieces, Ariana and Savanah DeWitt and Brittany Pipher and one niece on the way, Ava; a sister-in-law, Jody Aylsworth and a brother-in-law, Jeff Smock.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, Bobby Ash.

Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Dan Hoffman from Our Lady of the Lake of Edinboro, PA officiating.
