Clara Ford Roth Dimaria

  Clara Ford Roth DiMaria, age 85, of Meadville, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born February 26, 1931 in Greenville, PA the daughter of the late Warren H. Roth and Clara Deal Ford Roth.  She married James Joseph DiMaria and they would have celebrated 65 years of marriage. She was a graduate of Greenville High School, Greenville, PA and had attended Thiel College and graduated from Edinboro State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Library Science and earned her Masters of Education degree in English.  She had been the librarian at the former Randolph East Mead School and retired as the librarian at Saegertown High School. Clara was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity in Greenville, PA.  She was a member of the Woman’s Club of Meadville and the Antique Study Club. Clara is survived by her husband, James J. DiMaria of Meadville, PA, two daughters: Marylois Parise and her husband John of Meadville, PA and Louise Roth Rice of Meadville, PA, two sons: James W. R. DiMaria and his wife Tara of Sandy Lake, PA, and Paul Roth DiMaria and his wife Samantha of Mentor, Ohio, nine grandchildren: Anthony Rice, Samuel Rice, Elizabeth Rice, Clarissa DiMaria, Sophia DiMaria, Lauren DiMaria, Joseph DiMaria, Elias DiMaria and Caleb DiMaria, a brother: Warren F. Roth and his wife Patricia of Greenville, PA. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews in Greenville and Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by a daughter, Claire Roth DiMaria and by a sister: Emily Ford Dunn of Greenville, PA Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in the Shenango Valley Cemetery.
