Clarence John Walker Jr. age 78, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born on October 16, 1937 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of the late Clarence John Walker Sr. and Alice Susan Phelps Walker. He married Jean Ann ReBrassier on August 16, 1957. She preceded him in death on November 17, 2009. He was a graduate of the Linesville High School, having been a member of the first graduating class of the new high school. Clarence was the parts manager of Griffin Motors for almost 50 years. He was a member of the Harmonsburg United Methodist Church where he was active with the church food pantry and with Nana’s Kitchen, where he helped make hard tac candy. Clarence also ran the family corn stand on the East Side of Conneaut Lake for over 20 years, and ran the vegetable farm on Route 18 on the family property for the last four generations. He enjoyed working on his tractors. Clarence is survived by son: Douglas John Walker of Linesville, PA, daughter: Cathy Jean Greggs and her husband Dan of Jamestown, PA, son: Lewis John Walker and his wife Kathleen of Conneaut Lake, PA, son: Frank John Walker of Conneaut Lake, PA, and daughter: Tracy Jean Carless of Springboro, PA, six grandchildren: Rebecca Walker and her husband Chuck Groenink, Kristin Keyes and her husband James, Victoria Jean Carless, Tyler John Carless, Jessica Hartman and her husband Jeffrey and Sarah Troyan and her husband Joseph, five great grandchildren: Leah Hartman, Jack Hartman, Dylan Hartman, Amelia Troyan and Adele Troyan, a sister: Marian Grieser of Conneaut Lake, PA. In addition to his parents and his wife, Clarence was preceded in death by a sister: Maxine Kyle of Conneaut Lake, who passed April 16, 2015. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday from 2 until time of the funeral service at 4 PM at the Harmonsburg United Methodist Church, 14182 First Street, Harmonsburg, PA with the Rev. Dennis E. Lawton officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, privately.
