Constance L. Durish, of Meadville, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side, on Monday, December 4, 2023.
She was born, October 31, 1926 in Coons Corners, Pa, a daughter of the late Lloyd H. Mullen and Viola Siegrist Mullen.
She married John J. Durish on October 18, 1947, in Crossingville, PA. He preceded her in death.
Connie was employed as a legal secretary, then as a guidance and library secretary by Crawford Central School District for many years, retiring June 19, 1990.
One of Connie’s favorite pastimes was sitting around a campfire with family. She also loved traveling, cooking, gardening, cruising on the pontoon boat, her cats and cows.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Stanley) King of Florida, and a son John Jay (Lynell) Durish, 2 grandsons, Jason Durish, Steven Durish and his girlfriend Ashley Best, all of Meadville.
She is also survived by three sisters, Pat Lafferty, June Peterson and Donna Mullen all of Meadville as well as many nieces and nephews and good friend Bob Vega.
Preceding her in death in addition to her husband and parents are 2 brothers, Charles Mullen and Lloyd (Buck) Mullen Jr.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St. Meadville.
