Dale A. Adsit, 76, formerly of Conneaut Lake passed away Sunday July 12 at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community following a period of declining health. Born in Geneva on July 9, 1939, he was the son of the late Roy and Alice (Hall) Adsit. On September 28, 1963, Dale married Joan Lee McCrillis she preceded him in death on November 29, 1993. Dale was a 1957 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. Dale served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. After, Dale retired from PennDot where he worked for 36 years as a materials engineer. Dale was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Linesville on Center Road. Dale enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time at his camp in the Allegheny Mountains. Dale is survived by his daughter Kippy and her husband Dr. David Bodosky of Conneaut Lake; one son, Dr Christopher Adsit and his wife Kimberly of Meadville. Also survuvung are 4 grandchildren, Jacob and Dawson Bodosky and Aaron and Hannah Adsit, 2 brothers, Lyle and his wife Mary Adsit of Geneva and Bob and his wife Bonnie Adsit of Meadville. Preceeding Dale in death, along with his parents and wife was his brother Dick Adsit. Family and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory 130 N. Second Street , Conneaut Lake from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2015 at 11am at the Dickson Funeral Home with Pastor Kenn Orndorff officiating. Internment will take place in Geneva Memorial Cemetery of Geneva, PA. The funeral arrangements for Dale are in the care of the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N.
