Dale E. Harry, age 58, of Franklin, PA died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA He was born on February 13, 1955 in Meadville, PA the son of the late Wayne and Marguerite (Paradis) Harry. He married Theresa A. Hazlett on June 17, 1972. She survives. He had been employed by his father, Wayne Harry with the Wayne Harry Refuse Franklin and Oil City. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was a member of the American Legion Post# 476, Franklin, PA, and a Life Member of the DAV, Chapter 67. He is survived by his wife, Theresa A. Harry, of Franklin, PA; two daughters, Jennifer Beers and her husband, Stephen Beers Jr. of Franklin, PA., and Trish Worst and her husband, Chad Worst of Cherry Tree, PA., nine grandchildren, Jonathan Shaffer Jr., Chelsie Shaffer, Cierra Worst, Cole Worst, Brittany Beers, Cassie Beers, Megan Beers, Stephen Beers and Scott Beers; a brother, Gerald Harry and his wife, Judy of Daytona Beach, Florida, and nieces and nephews, Marcia King, Melissa Boreman, Brandy Myers, Brian Bailey, Dennis Hazlett, Jamie Hazlett, Shawn Hazlett, Cheyenne Hazlett, Ashton Burrows and Abagail Burrows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Harry and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Harry. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor David Brumagin, Pastoral Care at Meadville Medical Center, officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Hope Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the Venango Veteran's Honor Guard.
