Dale K. Spence

Dale Kenneth Spence, age 73, passed away suddenly on Sunday September 3, 2023.  He was born on December 3, 1949 in Beaver County, PA to the late Dale J. and Anna C. (Bedekovich) Spence.  He married Julia Marie Mance.  She survives.

Dale graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1967.  He was employed as a correctional officer for Beaver County Correctional Facility.  Dale was a proud Vietnam Veteran.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers and Penn State football fan.  He spent all of his time with his loving four-legged companion, Munch.

In addition to his wife of 20 years, Julia, Dale is survived by his sister, Arlene Sylvester of Aliquippa, PA; his children, Steven Spence (Anzhela) of Brighton Township, PA, Michael Spence (Stacy) of Penn Hills, PA and Daniel Spence of Monaca, PA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Spence, Madalynn Spence, Conner Spence and Alice Spence; his step-children, Jacob Maloney( Samantha) and Jonathan Maloney(Madisyn) and his step-grandchildren, Elianna Maloney, Adeline Maloney and James Patrick Maloney.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Dawn Spence and his brother-in-law, Carmen Sylvester.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
