Daniel A. S. Milligan

Daniel "Danny" A. S. Milligan, age 60, of the Meadville and Saegertown area, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Pittsburgh on July 21, 1954, the son of the late Lawrence and Ora Ankrom Milligan. He married Gladys Zane on September 20, 1999. She survives. He retired as the Head Roofer at Norfolk City Schools in Norfolk, Virginia. He had been a member of the Meadville Eagles Aerie #429. He enjoyed playing pool and had been involved with various pool leagues. He also enjoyed playing darts. Daniel was also very helpful and was always there when something needed to be fixed or repaired. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Milligan of Saegertown, PA, three sisters; Lynn Bartholomew and her daughter Angel of Meadville, PA, Rena O'Hara and her husband Paul of Beaver Falls, PA, and Lisa Howard and her husband Dave of Oil City, PA, two brothers; Lawrence "Rocky" Milligan of Meadville, PA and Charles Damien Milligan and his wife Mary of Conneaut Lake, PA. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Douglas Bartholomew. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the home of Daniel's sister, Lynn Bartholomew, 15681 Ridge Road, Meadville, PA 16335.
