Daniel is a graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School, Edinboro University and Middlebury College French School at Paris, France. He also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. For many years Dan was a French teacher in several states including Texas, Kansas, Connecticut, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. He worked in the Bilingual Dept. of Portland, Oregon, public schools. He taught French, English, and Theatre at various high schools in New England. He was also head of the Humanities Dept. and a French teacher in Epping, NH. In later years, he was appointed the Academic Director in France for a high school program where American students were enrolled in a French school for one semester of studies. After retiring from Academics, he worked for the Foxwood Casinos in CT. Upon his return to Meadville, Dan was employed as a therapeutic staff support worker with the Associates in Counseling and Child Guidance. He was affiliated with Bethany United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Met Opera, NYC Opera, Schulbert Opera in New Haven, CT., and Hart School of Music at the University of Hartford. He enjoyed gardening, teaching, the theatre, and traveling extensively throughout the US, Canada, and Europe.
