Daniel Earl Dearborn

Daniel Earl Dearborn age 72 of Meadville, passed away peacefully on March 15 ^th 2019, at his residence.

He was born in Saegertown, October 31, 1946; a son of Betty (Haemer) and Earl Dearborn.

Danny graduated from Meadville High School.   He and Donna Chest were married August 7, 1965.

He learned the mechanic’s trade while in the U.S. Army Reserves; worked at CHANNELLOCK; and owned and operated D. Dearborn Motors, in Meadville’s Fifth Ward for 38 years.

Surviving Danny are his wife Donna and their daughter Stephanie Bradley of Edinboro. A sister Suzanne Dearborn of Meadville; a brother Conrad Dearborn of North Carolina; a sister Gloria Barco (Kit) of Harmonsburg; a brother Donald (Luella) Dean of Meadville; an aunt Joyce Haemer of Saegertown; and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving Danny is his Grand-dog: Forrest Jasper Bradley.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are a brother Edward Dean; an uncle Conrad Haemer; grandparents: Grandma and Delbert Shilling.

Daniel Earl Dearborn will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and Father, and a great friend to many people;  an avid hunter on their property on Route 98, referred to as the ‘Beaver Dam”; and as a person who enjoyed fishing (perch and walleye) on Lake Erie with his family and buddies. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd, Meadville, PA.

Family and Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service on June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Colonel Crawford Park at Woodcock Lake at Shelter #4.  Military honors will be presented by the Veterans of Vietnam War Post #52 of Meadville, followed by a lunch and Celebration of Life for Danny.
