Daniel Fuhrer

Daniel Fuhrer, age 77, of Espyville, PA passed away at home on October 25, 2026. He was born on March 30, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Jacob and Bridget (Kane) Fuhrer. He married Jaqueline Marie Barger. She survives.

Daniel graduated from Peabody High School. He retired after working many years as the Lead Groundskeeper at the University of Pittsburgh-Main Campus.

He was an avid hunter and gardener and he loved his hunting dogs. If anybody knew Dan, they knew he was a great guy.

In addition to his wife Jacqueline, he is survived by his son, Jacob Fuhrer of Pittsburgh, PA.

Daniel was preceded in death by his loving parents and his siblings, John, Robert, Anna May, David, Patrick, Edward, Francis and Susie.

As per Daniel’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
