Daniel Lee Tidd

Daniel Lee Tidd, age 54, of Linesville, passed away at UPMC-Montefiore , Pittsburgh, after a long illness. Daniel was born June 19, 1960 in Meadville; the son of Joseph Tidd- who passed in 1974, and Hazel Camp Lyda, who survives and lives in Smithfield, N. C. He is married to Caroline Coulter. Daniel had attended both Meadville and Conneaut Lake High Schools. Daniel was a self- employed polisher and benchman; and had worked for many local toolshops. Most recently, he had worked for Maloney Tool. He was a member of various biker clubs around the Conneaut Lake area. Daniel was an avid motorcyclist and had built several of his own cycles. He also made " hand made" knives. Survivors including his spouse and his mother, are: his Bassett Hound J.W. who was his best friend ; his sisters: Kimberly (John) Mayberry of Meadville, and Patricia (Rick) Starling of Pine Level, N. C. , a niece Stefany Mayberry of Meadville, and a niece and nephew Chipper and Delaney Starling of Pine Level, N.C. Daniel was preceded in death by his father and a brother Michael Alan Kennedy. Daniel will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Memorials may be made to Daniel's family in care of the funeral home.
