Daniel Ward Wood

Daniel Ward Wood, age 50 of Saegertown, PA, died July 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 9, l963 in Meadville, PA the son of the late James Ray and Janet Faye (Fleming) Wood. He married Helen Rose Seaman on March 16, 2002. She survives He had attended Meadville Area Senior High School. He had been employed at Erie Plastics in Corry, PA and in maintenance at Leech Tool & Die. He was a member of the Keystone Riders, Meadville School of Kung Fu and the Body Firm. He enjoyed working out at the gym, hiking, riding his Harley Davidson and enjoyed woodworking. He was also a part of Make A Difference Day. He is survived by two sons, Daniel Allan Wood and his wife, Shannon of Kent, Ohio; Adam Joel Wood of Saegertown, PA., and a daughter, Heather Proper of Saegertown, PA eight grandchildren, Carter, Kelsie, Kalle, Jayden Joel, Logan, Mackenzie, Ty, Kyle; two sisters, Jo Wood of Saegertown, PA, and Cheryl Bugay of Tampa, Florida, a brother, David Wood of Meadville, PA. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Ian Legnosky. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA, followed by the funeral service at 7 PM with Pastor Benjamin Travis, of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.
