Darlene Foriska

Darlene Rose Foriska, age 62, of Meadville, PA, passed away at Encompass Health of Erie, PA on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

Darlene was born on April 1, 1960 in Petroleum PA to the late Edward Carl Roxberry Sr. and Marilynn Leona Wheeling.  On September 15 1998, she married Florian John Foriska.  He preceded her in death on July 6, 2017.  Darlene worked at Meadville Medical Center in environmental services until her retirement.  She was a member of Vernon Volunteer Fire Department Club Room and the Italian Civic Club.  She enjoyed playing bingo on Sunday’s and Tuesday’s at the Kerrtown Community Building and yardsaling.

Darlene is survived by her father, Edward Roxberry Sr.;  a daughter Mariea Boyce and her husband Gary of Bowden, WV.; a son Joseph Roxberry of Erie, PA.; 6 Grandchildren, Kameron Propheter and his wife Ashley, Kodie Roxberry, Zack Boyce, Cheyenne Roxberry, William Roxberry and Emily Roxberry; 2 Brothers, DeWoody Roxberry and Rex Roxberry.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Mother, Brother Edward C. Roxberry Jr. and a Sister, Betty Marie Roxberry.

A Celebration of Darlene’s Life will be on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from noon until 4 at the Kerrtown Community Center, 18834 Hope St. Meadville (located behind The Boot Box).  Arrangements have been entrusted to Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St. Meadville, PA 16335.
