Darwin Clark Bailey

Darwin Clark Bailey, 87 of Geneva, PA passed away August 4, 2018 at Rolling Fields, Conneautville, PA.  He was born October 30, 1930 in Geneva, PA the son of the late Walter Daniel Bailey and Marian Glee (Clark) Bailey.  Darwin married Dorothy Jean Weaver on May 31, 1958.  She preceded him in death on May 19, 1998. Darwin attended Meadville High School and then served in the United States Army in France.  He later ran the family farm and worked at Greenville Steel Car until retirement. He was of the Protestant faith and was a member of the Watson Run Church.  Darwin had a big sense of humor and loved to tease the kids.  He also enjoyed gardening. Darwin is survived by one sister, Audrey Bailey and her children, Gary, Linda, Dixie and Kelly, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sisters, Phyllis Bailey and Nancy Moore; and two brothers, Wilford Bailey and Maurice Bailey. A graveside service and interment officiated by Pastor Ken Hough will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville, PA with Military Honors by VFW Post #2006.
