David Hamilton

David Darwin Hamilton of Meadville lost his battle with drug addiction November 6, 2019.  He was born May 21, 1976 to Darwin Martin and Susan Elaine (Wensel) Hamilton in Meadville, PA.

David was a 1995 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and a graduate of the Crawford County Vo-Tech Tool and Die program.  He worked to earn his Journeyman Machinist card and worked in many tool shops over the years.  He shared ownership of One Precision Tool with his brother.  After the doors of that tool shop close, he went to work for Meadville Floors and helped on his parents’ farm.

In his spare time, David was an avid bowler, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.  He also played MASH Varsity Soccer in high school.

He is survived by his parents; one sister, Sabrina S. McCall and her husband, Leon (Mickie), Jr. of Meadville; one brother, Devin D. Hamilton and his wife, Kristen N. (Briggs) of Halifax, PA; his girlfriend, Jona Hall of Geneva; his nieces, Stephanie S. Vale and her husband, Kory of Goldsboro, NC, Alexis H. Hamilton, Jasmine B. Hamilton, Kaitlyn J. Hamilton and Sammantha S. McCall; one nephew, Morgan M. McCall; one great-nephew, Darwin Edward Vale and many cousins and friends.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert C. and Shirley A. (Boehm) Wensel and Martin N. and Irene L. (Anderson) Hamilton.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
