David Splitstone

David “Splitty” Kirk Splitstone, age 73, of Hartstown, PA., passed away April 4, 2026, surrounded by family at his residence. David was born June 5, 1952, in Meadville, PA to the late William and Dorothy (Temple) Splitstone. He married Carol Reese on October 16, 1976. She preceded him in death February 5, 2026.

David was a graduate of Linesville High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972-1974. He worked for T. Bruce Campbell Construction in West Middlesex as an iron worker. He was a member of Station 3 in Conneaut Lake, PA and Pumphouse 45 in Hartstown, PA.

David is survived by his 2 sons; David (Sareena) Splitstone of Linesville, PA and William Splitstone of McKean, PA, 8 grandchildren, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife Carol.

Per David’s wishes, there will be no services conducted.
