David Kristian Windahl

David Kristian Windahl, age 60 of Guys Mills, Pa and formerly of Meadville, PA passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Meadville Medical Center, with loved ones by his side. Born May 10, 1954 in Corry, PA Kris was the second of five children; John Erik, Kurt Stephen, Katrin Cecile and Karl Andrew being the other four, born to the late John J. and Ardrienne Marie Nestor Windahl. Kris attended Edinboro State College and later worked in the culinary arts then in graphic arts. He enjoyed playing music when and wherever possible. Kris thrived in the company of friends and loved all things creative, having explored art and music in many forms. He loved to travel and experience new things in new places as much as he was able to having grown in a family that travelled and lived in several different places. Kris is survived by his brother; Erik Windal, a sister; Kati Pope and a brother; Karl Windahl, nephews; Kyle Windahl, Seth Pope, Brent Pope, Jeremy Pope and Derek Windahl, nieces; Lindsay Pope, Robyn Haley and Karrin Windahl. In addition to his parents, David Kristian was preceded in death by a brother, Kurt Windahl. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
